Alright, sorry it's taken a bit to get an update, it's not really all that big of an update, but I'm working on it when ever I'm able to. Now that I finally got my wheels I AM FUCKING PUMPED and ready to finish the car and have it on the road.
So let's commence with the pictures, all shitty cell phone pictures again, sorry.
The wheels are 18x11.5 all the way around.
+8ish up front, and -2ish in the back, before adapters.
I'm running a 20mm adapter up front, and a 38mm adapter in the rear.
5" lips front, 5.5" lips rear. Very, very excited to have them and be able to start putting them together.
The rears:
The fronts:
It's looking like I could've gotten away with 19's (Maybe even 20's) but these will do for the time being, of course.
Then I put the tires on, even unmounted, it's Important to have them because I'm going to need to do a little extra cutting to make these wheels work:
This is how it's gonna look at the moment.
The rear fender line has been raised, a lot. I needed to cut a little extra of the inner fender, and the door to make sure the tire tucked in the back.
This is fine, except, I'm going to need to lower to front more as well. The front is pretty aggressive, so I either need more camber, or to put my fenders in the front.
Now on to my front bumper, that I'm shaving the front vents on. It's still on it's way, as I had to shave it, andddd flare it to meet the new front fenders.
And no, I'm not going to mold the bumper to the fender. I just want it to flow, I'm going to cut it in half and have a removeable bumper again.
Now, I have a problem for you guys. Stanceworks dude normally know their stuff.
I can't figure out how to make my new gas door work.
Unlike the Rear left side, the rear right side is a little rougher, because I haven't been able to figure this fucking gas tank out!
Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.Originally posted by electricalbox12 inches of goodness!
