Probably bumping a dead thread. So much win in this thread. Wish mine was as rust free as yours

No wheel arches though, only the whole panel... but my current body is rust free anyway, so no need to buy panels anymore.

So much win in this,
I remember this thread from when I used to lurk.

My main focus is on the MKIII right now, slowly working on the fenders in the background though.
Took the fenders apart and started fixing the light rust they had, so there should be little updates here and there in the future.

Sir would you be willing to ship some parts to the Philippines? I'm looking for the Left and Right side mirror or wing mirror assembly and door lock mechanism for the hatch. TIA

Looking good, excited to see where this is going!
I really like your Golf, I wonder why I've never seen it on the road, since I'm from SU too.
Keep it up and let us kow about your new daily.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm a little busy getting my new daily driver ready for the street, so I don't have had any reason to update this thread yet.Originally posted by harlerocco View PostLooking good so far, I just hope it doesn't look too silly with all the camber! I assume you're keeping the OEM kit once you paint it?
Also are you going to have to notch the driver side as well as the passenger side? I'm about to lower my Scirocco on 15's and I'm not sure if I should do the passenger side or both sides...
Would you be willing to ship some smallish rocco parts to the states? I'm looking for a driver side headlight frame and low beam. Oh and a couple of bulb holders for the euro spec turn signals. I'm coming to a close on my Scirocco build and would like to get a few more things and they're hard to come by over here.
But the answear is yes!
You should notch both sides, on my Scirocco there's already very little space left to the frame on the driver's side, while on the passenger's side the frame already sits on the driveshaft.
I could possibly ship some parts over to the states as well, already shipped wheels to Thailand, so why shouldn't it be possible to get some parts sent to the States, just send me a PM.
