Quite a pause.
Had to wait for my trip to Cali at the end of January to pick up a couple of parts...
Back in Germany then, I had a bazillion very good reasons not to do any stuff on the Scirocco (I was lazy).
Anyway. I finally put the new camber bolts in at the front and threw a pair of camber shims under the stub of the rear axle.
It finally fits all proper! Just need to add another shim under the rear stub, -3° don't seem to be enough, but -4,5° Should do the trick
Anyway... have some pics.
I'm really tempted to get the Scirocco painted in its original colour again... at first I planned to get it painted white... but damn, it looks quite sexy in black as well.
Thanks to the uniball strut-mounts and the camber bolts, the front will fit perfectly with some slight work on the wheelarch, same with the rear when another camber shim is added.
So next, I think I'll strip it down completely so that I can get some bodywork done and get it all prepared for the paintjob...
...but guess I'll need some time to decide what colour it'll finally be..
