        Started the bodywork...
While the Rocco is still sitting on its axles, I started rolling and pulling the arches.

All virgin so far. Not rolled, no rust, no marks.

After I used a Screwdriver, cutterknife, pliers, hammer and a club hammer, the arch is all flat and 3-4mm pulled outwards.

After I was satisfied with the arch, I swapped the plastic camber shims with custom made aluminium ones. Friend made them custom for our cars. They are extra thin and deliver -4,1° of camber. Sadly he cut them a bit too small, so they fit not perfectly yet. Second and right sized set should be come in next week.
        Already fits spot on though.
Still can fit a finger between tire and the arch, only the lip of the wheel pokes out. Still can go 1 or 2cm lower.

As we still have a parted out MKIII Golf sitting in our garage, waiting to be picked up be the scrapyard, I figured I would strip the interior of the Scirocco and stuff the Golf with some more trash.
All but a few, small parts are going to the trash.

...at Karmann in 89, someone wrote the name of the paint on the chassis.... but no, it's not gonna stay Brilliantschwarz at all.

The difference between the diameter of a 185/45 and a195/45 only is 1cm.
I would be limited to Nankang and the wheel wouldn't look as wide from behind. That's why I'll go for 195/45s.
Plus, there's a chance that I can run the 195/45s all legal and TÜV approved on my wheels.

185/45s are my backup plan though.

Dashboard was damaged, plus I need to use a differen one anyway, as I'll put the A/C from the 16V donor Scirocco back in.
Same with the door panels, gotta use the ones from the donor car as they were made for powered windows and mirrors.
I also got a set of OEM Scirocco Recaro seats sitting in my cellar that I'll use.
Gonna get the seats and door panels all remade with black leather.
Also gonna install a wee bit of audio. 8" Sub underneath the left holder for the parcel shelf, small amp next to the spare wheel and a 2-way front system.

That's the rough plan for now... flocked dashboard is also on the list, but that's all up to be decided later

Found them on eBay UK... they are from a polish shop though.
I run their uniball top mounts in my MKIII, too and they work great

No progress on the Scirocco really... started work on the fenders, but then got busy with other stuff.
This weekend we painted the floor in our shed, so with the Scirocco sitting outside, I took the oppertunity and took a shot from behind...

...I like that ass already, but it needs more low.
