But I just had to see how low I can drop it.
Old vs new. The KW strut is 2cm more short than the stock one... so far, so good.

Reduced the coils to everything necessary.

aaand... it's lower.
Left strut is stock, hence why the Rocco is lower on the right.

a closer look though revealed quite a problem... the upper spring seat nearly sits on the strut housing.
There's like 2-3cm of travel left, and it still needs to go lower. oops.
Since the available KW V1 and V2 rebounds have the same strut housing, there are just two options left.
Get a KW V3 rebound, which has 4cm more short struts, or get the other kind of coils with movable mount from some other company...
Shortening the V1 struts is kinda off the table, as I have no idea where I could get shorter cartridges..

Other things which need to get fixed are quite some parts of the suspension touching the body now... like the driveshafts, wishbones and the sway bar.

It's already sitting fine right now, so I guess I'll check the rear next. After that's done, I'll finally be able to strip the body down fully for bodywork and paint!
