    Agreed!!^^

I got an email this morning saying that my carpet is going to be here tomorrow, so i stripped the interior to get ready. Sorry for the crappy cell pics, but I was in a hurry and it was cold!

Found some rust on the passenger side floor board. Before I install the carpet tommorow i'll sand it down and spray it with some rust to primer paint.

Thanks! Wheel plans have been changing a lot, mainly based on random finds and money. However, I recently visited OE Wheels LLC and they have a set of staggared 17" ZR1 replica wheels from the 90's model that I REALLY like. It would be 9.5" up front and 11" in the rear, meaning I can run 315's in the back. I'd then run 2" adapters to really get a clean look from the side. In case no one's ever seen a pic of that wide a tire on an SS before, here's what it looks like:

This guy is running the same set of wheels and adapters i'd be using, just a different type of tire.

Yesterday I got my front sway bar from Hellwig! It's a solid 33.3 mm front sway bar, just a little different in the design than the stock one.

So this morning I got the car up in the air and installed it. A drastic improvement! I'm now driving a 4200 pound car with little to NO body roll. I can't wait to test all of it out on the track.

Had a car meet today with Hoosier INC, nothing special just a little get together. But we met at TRU motorsports in Indy and I figured I'd go pick up my NRG quick release

Here's a better pic of the steering wheel with no qr:

Had to take the wheel off and figure out which way to orient the system in order to work properly:

People eager to watch and stare until it becomes uncomfortable lol

Finally got it attached to the MOMO hub, looks good! (rubber sleeve is not covering the hub in this photo, making it look exposed

Went to the Wing Stop and took some photos, this was one of my favorites:

I read about that in Dsport

Nice wheel by the way, looks great!
I can see side to side flex but another big concern is up and down, or angled flex. I will take care of those this summer when I learn how to weld

And thanks! I love the style of the wheel, it really seems to go well with the car. i just can't wait for the quick release, it's gonna be SSick

Today was a very productive day! I ordered a black NRG thin quick release, and when I got home the MOMO hub adaptor was at the front door! So the project began....

First step, remove the air bag fuse. I don't want that thing blowing up in my face.

i got my sidewinder tool and removed the air bag pod

It was at this point that I realized muscle was not the answer to remove this wheel... i needed a puller.

    Adaptor ON!

    Here's the final result:

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!

    Here's the latest scoop:

Ironically enough, the item I ordered last showed up first! Got my buick rear frame brace today.

Yes the car is dirty, it's my DD so no complaining

There are a lot of different opinions out there as to whether or not this actually provide structural integrity to the frame. My honest opinion is... no it does not. However, i've always wanted one and for the price I'm not gonna complain!

There is alot of American Steel wheels that look sex and have nice lips/wide in 5x5!
Yea the set I could get would be about $400 out the door, problem is the back spacing isn't large enough so they won't fit with as low as the car is. Also, steel wheels are just too heavy for what I want. I'm trying to have stock c6 vette handling capabilities before next season.
