Today was a big update day, I got a lot accomplished.
First thing's first, I had to get the car back from the auto shop! I went there wednesday to check on oil cooler lines i'd ordered... when i went out to the parking lot to leave, i saw a lake a green fluid forming under the car.... Radiator = EXPLODED. Two days later and MUCH more $$$ then i wanted to spend, the car is back!
Here's a better shot of the ground clearance I have:
I got the entire lower dash, console, a-pillars, and passenger side b-pillar prepped and painted.
I found extra wide electrical tape and had an idea... for those of you that may be concerned, it's a joke
After I got the painted pieces put in the car
I think it's really starting to come together! Will definitely keep updating as progress is made.

Those rims look good but one thing that really stands out about the stock rims is the lip they have... I'd like to keep that look if at all possible. Love the deep lip

Fit some cobra rims on there
or
VIPER RIMS
I honestly don't see many rims looking clean. Most impalas you see out there look really tacky with huge rims and lots of chrome.

HOT SHOT WORKS.
And I'm stumped for wheel suggestions. But the car is sick looking.

Thanks! If there is one thing i'm lacking its knowledge of wheels and proper fitment. Feel free to post up pics of rims that would work for the look i've got.

Interesting build to say the least, I've never seen another one on here. Keep it up! I think it'd look dope bagged on Meisters or CCW's with a Nardi quick release, but that's just me.

I think you can get it at Home Depot.

Looks like that car was heavily smoked in.
I don't think you will be able to get the GM old school boatness feel out of that car, is built into them. The trick is not to try to fight it, but just embrace it's boaty goodness.
Glad to see these cars getting some love.
