Christmas came early I still need the air management but at least I can start making brackets etc.

I also have this FB page with random merc and stance pics
Benz build up. 3,051 likes. A page for classic MB fans, featuring the work I did to my own car and readers from around the world, both in original or customized styles

I've been doing some little things, but I'm waiting to start a new job before I get the accuair system. In the mean time I ordered 4 RE6 airbags and I found this on a local buy and sell website, it looks awesome in the dash.

I would do dirty things to have that bench seat! Car looks amazing! I own the green car in your first post, you should have found me and talked to me at the show. Can't wait to see more of your project.

Sometimes I wonder if someone changed it, haven't seen another one with a bench. Do you have a build thread for yours?

Here's some motivation from Down under:

What a contrast, flip a coin and you have Brad's creamy 1972 280se w108 on one side, and Nick's rat 1966 w108 250se on the other. They are so different…

Here you go its still stock height...progress is slow as I'm being held up by other stuff, like waiting to start a new job and registering the car as a classic, I don't wanna start bagging it before its approved ..Can't wait!

Yeah, if it sits flush there's not much room to put in a pivot...I'll have to find out in place. I have looked at some setups on youtube and it might work (given there's room)

i know your drawings aren't to scale but to put some guessitmated numbers into your drawings. your bag would have to sit 2/3" above the control arm, where as with that picture and i know on my car the bag sits flush with the control arm.

I was wondering if setting up the rear bags like this would work or they would flop about. I thought of this set up because if it works the bags would work straight and I can use the factory shock bolt. Any thoughts? Drawing is not to scale, just easier to explain

    as opposed to this
