Hey y'all, question for the carb guys.
I took the truck for a drive through the neighborhood last night, mostly in first, and the power and clutch to gas ratio was alll fucked up, I mean I would be almost or all the way off the clutch and at like 3500 rpms and not going anywhere, I thought it was my carb not giving enough gas.
So I spent this morning trying to tune my carb and I brought the idle down a LOT, I think I was idling like 1000 rpms too high(no tach) and now it sounds puuurrrfect, and it has a TON of go, but when moving slowly, or just hitting the gas a tad it tries to die and you have to rev it to keep it running, so you have to pop off the clutch quickly to get moving or else you'll stall.
Any thoughts on this? I'm not even sure what I'm asking, what screws should I fiddle with on the carb? Like I said the idle sounds right, so any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
