Before I post anymore progress I'd like to thank two people, who've helped immensely in this restoration. Restoring this car would have just been banging on an old hunk of sheet metal if it weren't for my family and close friends.

      My father:

One of my closest friends, Dan

      On to the progress:
Dan jumped on the opportunity to hammer out the last patch and put a fair amount of time into making the patch fit and look proper.

      Inside the rear apron-

Mocking Up- the picture doesn't do any justice to the amount of work he put in.

Seam Sealed- Just needs a finish grind and some undercoat.

Some A pillar rust that I needed to go back and take care of

        And...

        THE RUST WORK IS DONE!!

Thank the sheet metal gods, I can put down the grinders and MIG gun for a while. Finally decided on a color. After this restoration I'm going to be working with my father on the restoration of his '76 2002.

        Paint order!!

Once I finish the welding in the new pans, the car will be primed and I'll start on fender, door and trunk/hood fitment.

Advance still sells it. Apparently 3M bought the company recently.

Thanks guys, hopefully I'll have it painted soon and a fitment check will be in order.

Small update- Replaced trans seals, kind of a pain in the ass with the incorrect tools.

-Final drive seals are fun, trying to prevent all the dried grease that has accumulated from falling into the diff bearings.

Pulled apart, cleaned and resprayed the pedal assemblage- (dan almost ate a grinding stone when grinding the rust off a pedal)

I had a real idiot moment. When you assemble the clutch pedal on the end, the whole assembly is locked in and has to be hammered apart to change any component. First time I installed the brake spring backwards, second time I installed the clutch rod upside down. Wasn't exactly firing on all cylinders that day.

Through camera magic it's all back together, properly.

                            More progress to come...

If they have ever bought Honda parts, then they probably know of me.
