got some 25mm spacers for the rear, now the back wheels wont be so sunk in.

... i really need to get around to building the coilovers for this thing. winter project i guess, and yes, Clutchnet is taking their sweet time making a bmw disc...

All the parts I need have finally come in. New ignition system, clutch, reinforced fork, flywheel lightened by 14lbs and a few other things.

The lighter (15lb) flywheel will mate up with the carbon kevlar disc below and a red pp from clutchnet that I was already using and the Getrag 265 5-speed transmission that works so well with this car.

Hopefully I'll have this car back together after the holidays. I will post as progress is made.

Finally sourced all of the parts needed to get the motor back into my car. Should be running this weekend. Got myself a lightened flywheel as well, this is 19lb, stock is 29lb, so that should help out a little.

I've been working on this thing again and will make some videos soon but here's photos of the progress.

              how it sits

unfinished 3" exhaust, just need to weld on the side exit

3" dp, heat painted and wrapped

and completed install with a very dirty air cleaner

Coilovers are currently in production... I'll be out of town for a few weeks in NY but when I get back there will be photos of the lows.

Update. Got the front and rear coilovers on the car.

                            Front:
                            8" 325lb Summit springs
                            SAAB Bilstein HD shocks
                            Shortened strut housings
                            Kaphlenke Racing coilover hardware

                            Rear:
                            6" 250lb Summit Springs
                            S10 Bilstein HD shocks
                            R-Sport International coilover hardware

Need to remove the inner fenders so I can lower the front an inch or so but this is it.

Fronts before they went on the car:

                            Rear setup:

What's happening next... Mazda FD front brakes.
