I don't think I would know where to begin to pull that one off. I am just shooting for a from the factory look.

Finally found some time to work on it again. So here is what I got done.

I am going to start getting the other side welded back together. After that side is to this point, I will weld in the new inner fenders, then start filling them. The bumper cuts that I made will have to be extended all of the way to the bottom. The whole ends will have to be cut of and moved forward to get the wheel opening to look right. I have plenty of spare plastic to fill the gaps. I haven't been driving it at all the past two weeks, and need to have it ready to go by Monday. Should be a fun and busy weekend, and I will update as I go.

My 1978 Porsche 924 build thread is quite boring.

              Got a little work done...

The other side is nearly to this point. I was pretty lazy today and called it quits before being 100% done. They both will need more work till paint ready.

That's a filthy girl - But I'm sure she's happy to see her shoes being properly tucked in

Prepped and cut the inner fender. The inners are my least favorite part to deal with

Prepped the outers and figured my cut line.

Smoked a cigarette...then went for it.

The the bumper back on, cut it, and noticed a few issues that will need to be solved.

And one of me tracking rods to hold it in it's rough place.

I did the same to the other side then called it a night. I haven't gotten started on it today. I need a break for a few hours.
helmet? when it's dark out? the auto darken drive me nuts under nothing but perfect light
Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons

P.S. Is your tail a wagon?

Welding at night doesn't make the arc any less bright. lol I had a lamp pointing at my work area. My girl was standing in front of it when she took the picture.

I finished the inner fender on the driver's side, and the seam sealer is about ready for paint.I'm not sure if I want to finish the inner on the passenger side, or start on the filler on the driver's... Either way shit is getting done.

                          Thanks fellas

The inners on the rears are welded in and seam sealed. Also just got the alignment done. I <3 camber set to 0°...

                          At ride height

A little family time, then I will get the filler on the rears.
