Modified VW's and Audi's are reliable and make good power. Remove as much audi/vw from the mix as possible, and you will have something cool!

It's an o1a from a fwd A4/Passat. It will blow up during the early stages of tuning the motor. It has a poor internal design that ends up shearing the gears around 400whp. I am shooting for 800-1000+. I am only using it for mock up right now. I need a built FWD o1e. They can be had for a few less than $5k. I don't have the funds for that right now.

I can't wait to get back to this thing! It will be sometime next year though. I am way to picky about details to rush through the 944's build.

What is the transmission from?

I wish I could say yes. I had to postpone progress for the time being. My daily driver 944's oil pan took a big hit from a rock in the road, so I had to make it the priority. There has been a few "easter eggs" in the process, so it has turned into a build itself.

I'll get back to the TT once I get the 944 wrapped up.

I am a quite a bit further along now, and will update it soon. Work has been keeping me busy, with no days off in the past month, progress on it has slowed. I do have damn near everything to sitting in my house to "finish" it.
