    • The body work and the new colour comes out amazing man, really good job
Your winter setup is also awesome.
With the summer setup I'm not sure, I would prefer polished lips or blacking out the whole rim.

But it still is one sick TT, no matter if you leave the rims like they are
And please post up some daylight pics

          • EZ-lip as side skirt trim.

And sprayed the roof black, in preparation for a carbon overlay.

The hatch strip would have needed to be completely finished before paint, inorder to avoid a ridge line of carbon. I am going to make a carbon roof spoiler that will cover the strip, and flow with the roof.

            • Probably looks good in person. Black wheels/lips never show up right in pictures. Not bad though.

Looks very clean, Just wish you did polished wheels, instead of black... But if you change that up your ride will be sweet!

                • looove the car

I'm on the bandwagon too... can't get with black lips, always feels like such a waste

but set up, fitment, and everything else coming up roses

You are probably right. They certainly look great in person.

Thanks man! I love the way it turned out.

For all the wheel ha+ed, I will be building a set of RS' this coming year, and they will have polished lips. I love the black lips on the VIP's, so they will stay that way.

I appreciate all of the kind words, even though the lips aren't for everyone. My feelings aren't hurt.

                          • I'm back at it...

I haven't been satisfied with only having widened flares. I decided to cut into it again, before the coming color change. I have been at it for a couple weeks so far.

                            enjoy

I didn't take any picture of the beginning of the foam progress, but this is beginning of the shaping.

A little closer to the proper shape, so I taped on the flare to reference the wheel fitment.

My phone is being a pain in the ass, so I'll update the rest of the progress later.

                            • RWB ?
                              Is that you ?

                              Great poject there sir.
Love the fabrication. A nice set of wheels would top it off, but hey, the wide fenders will be awesome.

Be sure to update this properly.

                              Cheers

                              • I have the wheels covered.

Test fit with the metal flare taped on.

The start of a foam flare. Everything was equally as rough at it's beginning.

                                taking shape

Fitting the bumper. The vent will be staying, and will have a separate detailed piece to finish off the opening.
