Those would be more interesting then salad shooters, but Idk about the color, you'd be ready for Halloween at least, lol.

welp. the mercedes wheels are gone which pisses me off a little bit. i really wanted those.

But it probably wouldn't have worked out, as the adapters would have been almost 2 inches thick, and depending on the offset they probably would have poked out way too much. As for the salad shooters i did, but i didn't really want them, for the same reason of 5 lug adapters and shit.

Maybe when i acquire like $600 ill get them for cheap, and get them re-drilled for 4 lug.

anyways. im house sitting again, sooooo ITS MOD TIME!!

              so heres what im doing:

              Tint Removal
              Trunk Hole Repair
Headlight Polish (Ver. 2.0) [i polished them earlier in the week, but i need to work on the passengers side again.]

i bought sand paper and shit to remove my taillight tint, and i'm going to probably pick up some fiberglass mat and resin so i can fix my trunk. and i tested out some rattle can paint and it matches pretty perfectly.

i cant think of anything else at the moment but heres some pictures.

looking sexy while i strip her

              parts off.

i didnt take pictures of it, but my lip started to sag in the front (i think from scraping over the many entrances that im too low to get into.)

Anyways, the zipties that hold the lip in place (classy install i know.) had turned backwards. The way i had them set up works out pretty badass if i dont say so myself.

The home depot lip is held onto the bumper by zip ties, and the piece that is usually snipped faces toward the direction of travel.

Then you snip off the excess leaving about an inch, so that its hidden by the lip. this little piece of plastic acts as a frame/skeleton that actually holds the lip in place.

One of those accidental engineering marvels i guess.

figured i would be a cool kid and take some clearance photos.

thats where my frame sits, and my fronts are maxed out.

Apparently Eibach can make custom springs for about $200 total, as long as you give them the size and spring rate.

I was talking to a gentleman (he legit was an old gent) that said he used to race track cars, and they had like 4 sets for different tracks and thats where he got them from. kinda pumped, because that isn't very expensive.

here is what the rear lights currently look like with no tint, and sanded up to 320 grit.

looks like poop becuase i need to get my headlight repair kit. i couldnt find like 2000 grit at home depot. i went from 80-330 so far, and im going to finish with the headlight repair pads and get some mothers polish at auto zone or something.

i will probably tint them again, but i want the red VHT tint for the turn signal/reverse light. i think it would look neat if they were all red. ill probably do a photoshop first, and look at it for a couple weeks to make sure i dont do something i dont like.

if you want to remove tint....you're going to have a bad time.

Hey i saw you said you were thinking about getting wheel spacers. Just wanted to let you know what happened to me with mine. I got 16mm wheel spacers so a lil more than half an inch. There was no directions on putting them on but i have seen videos and it looked like a simple throw on your, tighten it and your done. Not the case at all, put them on but the existing lug nuts got in the way of the wheel sitting completly flush on the spacer so that was pretty sketchy but figured it would be fine. Driving home one day a loud pop came from the front left, three lug nuts shot off the studs and only one was hanging by a thread. So pretty much I had to cut all the existing lug nuts (not on the wheel spacer) and then put the wheel on so it fit flush. It was a nightmare though and to this day i still have problems with them.

i doubt it. i believe that is the MD/UD generation. the suspension setup in the rear is different. i believe they changed from a McPherson style to the honda style rear setup with a seperated damper/shock and spring.

I don't think they would fit.

A 2007 is an HD, not an MD/UD like ryan said. We have XD2's which are the previous generation.

This guy has D2 coilovers on his HD elantra.

^^ yeah i wasnt sure which abbreviation was the proper one from that generation. anywayssss

i am trading a dude for wider versions of my current wheels, specs are 15x8 0mm offset.

i just got my camber kit in yesterday, which is begging me to install it. =D

i will roll on my steelies until it go get my rears rolled. i want to do it myself, but i dont want to **** it up, as the rear quarters aren't replaceable without lots of work, swearing and headaches. ive done everything else on my car, so i guess i can let someone else do this small thing.

                            Prepare for fitment hell

You are really going to have to roll and pull those fenders if you want proper fitment. Hell, my 17x7's (high 30 offset?) wheels rubbed the front a lot. You might want to remove the bolt inside the wheel well connecting the front bumper to the fender towards the front of the car. I got a proper roll done to my fender and now I only rub the edge of the fender lightly when going over bumps.
