the Simply Clean Saga
heres what everyones been waiting for. woot. still need center caps, and other stuff, but this should satisfy you for now.
i know i said i would do a legit photo shoot on the way back, but i was so tired that i had to slap myself multiple times to keep myself from falling asleep on the way to Bloodhound Brew. (explained below)
i didnt take many pictures at simply clean because i **** carrying my camera around and i was running on an hour of sleep thanks to a drunk ass friend of a friend that would shut the fuck up in our dinky hotel room. actually speaking of that, let me tell you the story of how the night/morning of SC4 went down.
so me and Emilio, my friend from Full Sail University, are in the Recording Arts Degree, and had lab from 9pm - 1am the night/morning of SC4. we didnt want to have to drive up really early, so a week before SC4 i booked a hotel room at the local Motel 6. so we got out of lab, and drove the hour up to Daytona. I went to check us in, and the attendant who was working the lobby wouldnt let me check in because i was not 21. -__-
so we had parked underneath the valet parking thing right by the entrance, so i went back to our cars and explained the situation. we finally got a friend that was 21 to come and get us the room, so he went to go book it, with a legal ID, and all cash. there were 7 of us that would be staying in the room, and the guy would not book it. we gave up on the Motel 6, and tried to find another hotel that would let us stay there.
As we were doing this, the attendant called the police on us. I didn't know until i saw a cop parked on the edge of the lot looking at us. by this time our 21 friend had booked us a hotel room next door at the Days Inn literally 40 feet away from the Motel 6. We drove out of the Motel 6 so the cop wouldn't arrest us as he was looking antsy. We drove to a gas station for 15 minutes to let him skedaddle, and we drove to the days inn. We got our keys to the room from our 21 friend and he left, and we got to our room and brought in our shit.
then i put all my stuff in the hotel room. emilio and his friend kevin had brought some Grey Goose to liven the night at the hotel room up. long story short, his friend kevin didnt shut the fuck up all night and i got an hour of sleep. i had been up from 10 Friday morning to 5am Saturday morning.
i didnt get to sleep until 10pm saturday night, after walking around Simply Clean all day, driving another 60 miles to Bloodhound Brew
(as stated above i was so tired i had to slap myself to stay awake. yes i know its not safe, yes i could have endagered others, but i had missed meeting these guys like three times, and i wasnt going to miss it this time.)
to have dinner with some forum members i finally met from ElantraXD (a forum for tastefully modded hyundai's) and Xtreme Events: Cars Of FLorida (XECOFL) and then we went to Tutti Frutti where i had some balls in my mouth (they have little strawberry flavored balls that are similar to gushers). the six 30 year olds and other kid my age arent the most mature group. but i had a blast. i then slept until 11am today where i have explained this epic saga.
i hope you had fun reading this. i dont have many mods planned for the near future, but at SC4 i picked up a Broadway Mirror, definitely a worthwhile purchase. i know im now wicked JDM so everyone should love my car. actually its just awesome to see the entire rear view.

my friend Miles took these pictures below. i need a 50mm lens in my life.
We went out to try and find a good spot to shoot a feature video thing, and when we got out there late as i had just barely finished the slider rig i built.... which still needs tweaking. he was just messing around trying to figure out the angles and shots he wanted. i wanted to have a video done before Thanksgiving but finals and building the slider took a lot longer than i wanted to. =/ and i still need to work on the slider rig as its really wobbly.
