  • Aircooled - Type 3 squareback

Well I just picked this up today.
    Guy was super nice.
Hopefully I'll have a decent little build of it.
    On to the pictures.
I'll try to keep it updated at least weekly.

It has it's flaws obviously. But it's pretty close to ready for paint after I get the new door on and a little body work.
Haven't gotten dead set on a color yet, although red would be the easiest.

Plans as of now are to make it run, paint, lower, wheels, interior.

This is where she sits now and I think she will sit for a little bit.

I'm buying another one for parts in the next few days. So we will see what happens and I can hopefully get the ball rolling after that.

I wouldn't even paint this, throw a flat clear on and done. thern work on wheels and drop and other misc shit to get it running, maybe a motor swap to a vr6?

              Very nice T3!
I must say though, does everyone in TN have a garage that looks like that with an e28 in it?

Nah, no motor swap. That would be weird. It's air cooled.

The paint has to be done because he sanded so much down on the doors. I'd love to have just kept it the way it was before he got started.

                      Ha. Like theseeker said.
It is the exact same garage.

Thanks everybody. Hopefully it turns out the way I want and you guys won't be disappointed lol.
I'm getting pretty excited about it, just need to get a good schedule and plan together on what is necessity vs want for the build.
