Well, I’m back in school as of a few days ago. Being the President in student council, AP classes, and the Insane amounts of homework I have, it took me a while to get an update. But here’s what I’ve got for today.

        I love wiring… :l

The Whole JetTronic MFI section came of quite easily

        Broken Head bolt

        Lovely.

So, this whole Emissions, haggard air flow crap goes all around the engnine and into the exhaust. I don’t like it. But living in the great state of California I have to have it to get it smogged. It suck. It literally was not even flowing. The tubes were clogged with what looked like pubes and torn up carbon fiber.

Although I got a new one with the car in a box full of goodies, I’m just going to take care of it now and replace it with electronic.

        Someday 

Some shots of mine and my dad's car

This is Where I Ended today… Time for homework.

Something in your grammar or your homework is getting mixed up.
Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons

          Sincerely,
          The Wagon Mafia:Inner Circle
P.S. Is your tail a wagon?

          Show cars are lame.

Looks like it has potential, however the car looks silly with 964 bumpers and sugar scoops. Also if you're doing all this work to pull it apart you should throw in a set of cams and carb it. That'll bring the car to life and give you a result similar to mine. Also those are massive spacers, instead of trying to make those type A's fit try trading them on Pelican for something that fits. The 16's look a little funny on the 965 body considering that car never came with anything that small and was designed for bigger. The car in general looks like a bunch of parts thrown together. If you did a couple of things to tie in the 965 look that was started it could look really nice. Sorry to sound nit picky, but I'm trying to give you a push in the right direction. My car is a 964 3.8 RSR look and is similar to yours.

*whisper* how this thread's been going so far do you think he's been on pelican? I'm half expecting him to ask the point of trading his wheels to a wildlife conservation area.

I appreciate it. Yeah, I would definitely like to look for a different set of wheels once she gets up and running. The wheels right now aren't doing the car justice. I would love to go bigger. I'm not sure on wheels though. I really like the CCW's much like yours. And I have been thinking about going to carb, but i'm just not sure if it is woth it. the Jettronic mfi on it seemed to be working fine, the vehicle had just been neglected to get it in this state. But Carbuerated sounds a lot nice.No worries, It's fine, I have heard that about the bumpers before, but like i said, I'd like to get her running, then tackle wheels, and then move onto aesthetics. I really love your rear setup with the decklid and big wing. Thanks for the helpful insight.

I have made a few mistakes in my writing so far and you have been there to correct me. "Rear engine, midship." "Duck tail, turbo tail." Cool. Internet high five for you. But seeing as how you also have a Porsche build on this site, constructive criticism from your part would be much more helpful than your sarcastic remarks. By all means, you have every right to troll my thread, and there is nothing i can do to stop you, but you are one of the people on this site who could actually be helping me. Thanks anyways.

hey steve, what i think rebounder was trying to say is that by trying to trade your borbets on 'pelican' that you wouldnt know that 'pelican' is in reference to pelicanparts.com a really good source for factory bmw and porsche parts. i used them when my 325i overheated. you should check it out its an awesome site. cheap factory parts and super cheap shipping costs. anyways i love how this car is coming together please keep up the great work.

I gotcha. That site is incredibly helpful and that is where i have learned a lot about the whole mechanical fuel injection and the fuel pump delivery system to get the car started in the first place. After that i thought it was overfilled oil, which a lot of people on Pelican suggested. I used their site a lot. and it is wesome.

I thought about that when I bought it and just registered it under my mom's name. But I'm not sure what it is yet. We go through USAA and i know they get an incredible umbrella plan. Again, I'm not totally sure, but I think a lot of their veteran benefits are included in insurance which takes it down a bit. I know I'll be paying a pretty penny, but it's worth it.

you'd need adapters... but i do have a set of 17x9.5/11s i could give you for cheap. i'm only an ass when people seem to get ahead of themselves.

Whatever you do, be careful. If you crash this car, you will regret it for a long time. Resist the urge to do dumb stuff. You WILL get in an accident, you are not the driver you think you are.

Ask me how I know. You might not walk away like I did.
