Earl, you realize that this thing is getting to be better than new! Stop putting BMW to shame haha

Just keeps getting better, the attention to detail has changed how I now want to build my E36, but I dont have the same commitment to it haha.

Started putzing around again Yesterday.
A little before and after of the refinished front bumper shocks
I didn't know that these rear shock tower carpet cover inserts existed until I was watching a Bavsound audio install on a compact. Obviously I ordered them new right away
I installed new tail light gaskets on the MHW's and also threw on my new bulb trays
That's all for now

Earl keep up the awesome work, your attention to detail is on another level! Your shaved bumper looks mint. I wasn't to sure about it when you first did it, but now that is on the car I'm lovin it.

Got a few things done over the past few days.
I bent the new brake line running to the rear to match the original:
I threw in my coupe battery cable to help with the relocation to the hatch. I couldn't get any good pictures of this but imagine a red cable running under the floor board wire covers, over the back seat, and into the hatch.
I brought a new to me set of bumper shocks back to life and installed them with my refreshed bumper support:
I managed to get my sunroof in as well but I need to play with it more to get the front to sit flush with the roof. For some reason I am having issues with that. The rear sits nice and flush which really confuses me.

Accomplished a handful of things this weekend.
Picked up some parts:
Friday I got the headliner trimmed and installed:
Saturday I finished getting it fitting correctly and I installed a new gas cap hanger and stop buffer on my gas door:
I then glued down the separating vinyl on the sunroof and threw on the new side covers:
Once dried it holds strong now:
I also finished cleaning my sunroof tracks and threw in the new fabric shuttle rails:
Yesterday I installed my new to me passenger window, replaced the sliders on the drivers window that I neglected when I installed it, and installed the fabric shuttle:
I would have put in the sunroof as well but I couldn't find the white lithium grease to lubricate the tracks first. I will pick some up today and get that done

I picked up the headliner bits and drivers seat from the upholsterer yesterday. He did a phenomenal job. I will get some decent pics today while it is light out as it was late when I got home with them. I will also attempt to install the headliner today if someone is home to give me a hand.
Other than that I finally got a set of rear bumper shocks and a passenger window. The window should be going in today and I am just cleaning up the bumper shocks before installing them.
I've also been working on a little side project for the car that I want to keep under wraps until it is completed. It should be pretty neat once done

I used a stiff plastic scraper, a jug of lacquer thinner, and a roll of shop towels
