Agreed, since it's not an M you should go for the M Technic, although maybe you should try and find ClubSport ones. Seen them on a few Ti's.. looks awesome :thumbsup

Currently I have these molding badges

I have never been a huge fan of them since my car isn't an ///M car.

However, I have always been a huge fan of these

Since I have ///M parts this seems more fitting and looks a little nicer.

    Thoughts?

I currently have 97 Mustang GT shocks. They are plenty short for me. I am sitting fenders on lips on my 17" Breytons, but the car tucks wheel when I have it on the stock 15's. lol

From what you are making it sound like, the 79-93 shocks are longer than what I have.

Here is mine versus e30 Bilsteins.

I went with 79-93 Mustang shocks. Strange Engineering S6000EM... 10 way adjustable and a little shorter than the stock style replacements. Good match for the car, but they didn't go low enough to air out on 215/35/18. I was happy with them. Air Lift is in the process of making an E30 kit, so you might be able to get something from them. All you need are the E36 mounts with a shorter shock. Extended shock mounts, like what Ground Control offers, could also get you the travel needed.

What struts did you go with?

Should be able to get an idea from this:

IIRC, Koni and KYB also publish this info. Unfortunately they don't say anything about dampening. I picked a close match based on the weight on the car, then went with an adjustable shock to dial it in.

    No real update.

I didn't get out to the shop this weekend. My buddy Kyle will hopefully be out this weekend to put in more time on the bay.

I have a pending order on ECS for the tensioner plug and washer, as well as all new bolts for the front suspension. I am trying to replace almost every bolt with a new one for peace of mind. When I did the rear suspension I didn't really care all that much. Now I feel like rusty hardware was half-assing it and I feel like ripping it back out to replace all of that as well.

I have also been thinking about my rear shock mounts. I have some decently new e46 m3 convertible mounts installed now, but I didn't have new washers, nuts, and gaskets when I put them in. I have been thinking about doing the GC tall RSM's to gain some dampening in the rear, but I think that would limit my airing up height due to the Mustang shocks already being really short.

I am also hearing about Camaro rear shocks lately and am wondering how they compare length wise and stiffness wise to the mustang shocks. Does anybody have any info on this?

Sucks a bit. They are giving me the proper ones for a discount and letting me keep the old ones to sell so it should work out.

I noticed that as soon as I saw them=)

That sucks dude. I'm surprised they wont work with you on swapping them out.

Also those cars posted above are the ones I told you about with the e46 skirts.
