haha thanks. I just meant that if I knew I was going to have to remove the engine and paint the lower portions of the car, why would I prerequisite that with making it a remove-the-front-bumper-then-drive-up-on-blocks-then-insert-scissor-jack-then-raise-it-enough-to-fit-a-floor-jack-under-the-frame-rails type of affair? At least that's the way Nelson had to be serviced. Always ***** that...

Since you've got it apart, check out your front lca's. Replaced both of mine last night and it was a big improvement. Just a tip since you already have it apart haha

Perhaps I should look into new bushings as well, at 40-50 mph my car vibrates more then some of my butt toys.
wait..

e28 bushings are a bunch of booty vibrations for sure. Swap the front control arms out and get some hub centric rings if your wheel centerbore doesn't match up to your hubs. Sounds dumb, but makes a massive difference. TRUST ME, I KNOW.
M10 is all kinds of apart right now. Good news is, the cylinder walls look fantastic for a car that puffed out blue plumes more than Smokey Nagata. Actually they look fantastic regardless of its smoking habits. So that saves me the price and downtime of machine work. Also here's a pile of shit that mostly will remain off of the car forever.
I'll have the engine entirely torn down tomorrow. Hopefully hitting a parts washer too.

So I had a lot of dirty stuff. And then I cleaned it. And now I have a lot of clean stuff thanks to beefivewaggy or whatever Trigsby's name is on here.
Block
Head
Parts washing parts in the parts washer
Ending up with clean stuff, like this timing cover set for instance.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand my clutch that I thought was awesome turned out to actually be a birds nest in a kind of disc like shape. So got a new one. This is getting quite expensive. It better run like a damn top.
