Ok, so the bay was lookin all grimey and shitty and stuff. And at first I was just gonna do the rebuild. Then I decided I'd match the bay to the future color. Then I decided I'd go ahead and remove the brackets for the windshield sprayer bottle and cruise. Then I just kinda.... kept removing things. So the intake bracket got cut out. Then the battery tray got cut out. Then I figured I'd go ahead and fill the holes. Then I found some surface rust here and there that I ground away with a flap disc. Then the wiring harness got removed. Tomorrow I'm pulling the brake booster and the rest of the firewall stuff. Turns out I'm just accidentally, unintentionally shaving the bay. oops.
