Haha, it seems people are captured by the stripes up front and the rear gets no attention. Here are a couple from my phone that sorta kinda show the back.

Here are a few shots from SoWo I nabbed from my facebook. All credit to the guys who took them. At this point, the car is "done" aesthetically more or less. I gotta say I'm quite proud of it so far.

Special shout-out to my friend Bryan Cheney for this shot. Hanging out of a car at 70 to get it, and it looks phenomenal.

You're basically adding length to the already shorter strut cartridge. That way you could be at your ideal ride height and have optimum travel in your shock. If you're currently spun all the way up on your current setup is still borderline too low to drive, then I personally think you should give it another go. You could even use the old section of strut housing that you originally cut out to gain some height back on your modified housing, if that makes sense. I'm not trying blabber on about this, just trying to help.
Going back and reading your post again, I'm with you. Maybe next go round I'll be able to do the spacer deal.

Yeah, I had access to all that when I worked at autozone too. That's how I managed to get my accord so low.

    Well, these things happened.

If it's a long-term problem, I'll check into that after I find a pair of factory ones. An e21 is bound to pop up in a junk yard at some point. Thanks for the heads up though!

I made a video of my e30 coilover build and strut housing shortening, if you watch from 4:20-4:38 you'll see what I mean. BMW E30 Strut Housing Shortening Tutorial + Ground Control Coilover Build - YouTube

But it seems everything worked out so that's good. In case for some reason you ever decide you don't have enough travel and snag a stock set of front strut housings and give it another go, the spacer might do the trick.
