    • GOOD JOB SON.

Fusebox cover is so badass. Its like a fortress for your fuses.

Now come help me rebuild my e28.

      Love Pops.

      • That fusebox cover is really nice, or it would be if all those ratchet ass wires weren't attached to it.

Got some more done today. Jason at Heritage Motorsports sent me a used radiator since mine got all chopped up by the broken fan blade, So I got the cooling system done. One kinda neat thing I did was make replacement radiator hardware. My rubber ones both tore apart,

So I went to the hardware store and got a couple bolts, a few washers and some nylon spacers.

Then cut them to fit and drilled them to match the diameter of the bolts and viola!

            Radiator doesn't budge now.

Also continued running wires and got the mounts bolted in. got the clutch hydraulics back in order and the trans completely bolted back up to the engine. But all of that is boring so here's a couple more pics of the bay

Also threw the headlights back in.

            yay!

Tomorrow I wire the battery relocate and a few grounds I need to move. Then make a new intake and hit the road!

              • It's almost there! Little things like figuring out your own new hardware/mounting solutions are some of my favorite parts to a build. Even if it's super simple, you just feel accomplished afterward haha.

                      • HELL YEAH IT WORKS.

Worked like crazy from 2 when I got back from class till about midnight. Got all sorts of stuff done. My old grounds had been dicked around with by the previous owner and there were wire nuts and oil and corrosion all over them. So I made new ones.

Being the best-damn-honda-kid-period that I am, I bought an integra intake and chopped it up to fit

Got a Momo wheel and adapter and a dash mat from a guy on BF.c. Quite happy with them.

Since my grounds were all on the battery tray, I needed to relocate those, and chose this area under the headlights since it wouldn't require lengthening the wires or drilling into my freshly shaved and painted bay work.

After that, it got dark. I basically routed a power wire to the trunk, made a ground wire, hooked up a few loose ends here and there and turned it over. Timing is off, but the engine itself seems to be healthy! Tomorrow I'll be finalizing the battery relocation with the battery box and cutting the wires to length. The "new" radiator (read: new to me, old in reality) I got is actually bad, so I might just spring for an aluminum one to be done with the hassle. Stoked that it ran though, if only for 2 minutes. I think I have a couple ground issues to track down as my tach and low beams weren't working. Minor stuff though. Should be on the road again soon!
