It would be a pain in the ass to do that with the Style 5 spokes, but full polish would be killer. If they look as good as that belt buckle, they'd be head turners for sure.

I was bored and my belt buckle had some chipped paint so I thought I would make it look new again. I know this isn't anything car related but I shows how much of a difference the polish makes.

^I used more paint stripper after I got tired of trying to sand off the paint.

^I removed all the paint then sanded with a 400 grit paper.

    ^Brown tripoli applied.

    ^White diamond polish applied.

    ^Mother's applied.

My polishing kit came in the mail yesterday and once I got home from the BMX track I went right to my basement. I was only able to do one lip so far. I worked on my lip and decided to mess around on Photoshop till about 2 in the morning. I had to get up at 6 for work, otherwise I probably gotten at least another lip done.

    PaintThinner
^Used paint thinner to take off the existing Mother Mag and Aluminum Polish.

    BrownAdded
^Added the brown tripoli and it looks as if it made it look a little more scuffed than what 1500 grit wet sanding did.

^Another photo of brown tripoli added.

    WhiteDiamond
^Added some white diamond compound. Cleaned up nicely, just a few little marks.

    MotherApplied
^Applied some Mother's, not rubbed in yet.

This thread is great, and I definitely love your pictures man! Some inspiring and awesome work, especially for a youngin', haha. Keep it up, can't wait to see the style 5's finished, I'd go with a bright silver or white too, I think those would look classy as hell.

That's fine! You can ask all you want. I'm going to run Falken 512's in that tire size. It's a little bit of stretch but nothing crazy.

    Good stuff, good pics.

Whenever I sand and polish, I go all the way up to 2000 grit wet! 400 is usually the lowest I would start at. So I would recommend sanding some more before machine polishing.

Search Amazon I bet they have something that you can use if you don't want to run to the store. When I used the Turtle Wax I bought a wheel from Advanced Auto Parts and just twisted the drill head to lock onto the metal stem price that is on wheel.

I guess that will have to do since I don't have any other tools to polish them.
