Love the progress man, im actually refinishing my style 5's aswell!
Do you have any picture's of how your lips ended up?
I sanded one of my lips and it doesn't seem close to being ready for polish and I want something to compare it to.
can't wait ti see the end results!

I'm waiting for my polishing compounds and wheels to come in but here is how it looks when polished with Turtle Wax Polish and Mag's & Aluminum Polish.

I got tired of sanding the faces so I bought some paint stripper. It got most of the paint off already. I just need to do a few more coats of it to take it down to the metal.

My jewelers polish should come in sometime next week so I polish the lips the right way.

I started to make some headway in refinishing my wheels. I have one face sanded so far but all of my center caps have been sanded.

Sanding got boring so I took some photos.

Small Update:

I went to the DMV today because I left my wallet in a taxi in Mexico... Well, anyways I had a wait of an hour and a hald so I went in to the parking lot and started to run my iPod connector from my trunk to my center console.

After posting this I need to get back to sanding my waffles! My car went into the shop today because I had a check engine light on. I'm pretty sure it is just the faulty gas cap but who knows, it drove fine. I'll be able to finishing hiding the iPod wire once I get my car back.

the chemicals in the mixture remove the rust from metal i.e bolts.
