Update.
Well my luck seems to say bad. The Type A's got here with me thinking they minty and in great shape. That was far for what I got as you can read here..
The faces were spray painted, terribly
The lug hole have been milled larger, terribly
one wheel was bent
two wheels had cracks in them.
So they will not be on the MKV. So this what you'll see at H2O.

I see that last shot, looks like the wheel sits more in on one side then the other? I've seen pics of other mk5's and they have a similar trend.
I love your car dude!

Well since all the trade offers I seem to get are not what I want I'm just going about and fixing some issues. I placed this order today....
All H2Oi prep. nothing crazy just service stuff but still makes me feel better to take care of the car. but those 20mm spacers will be fun 18x9.5 et20 will be the final offset for the rears now.
I still have to pick up oil on the way home and have to find somewhere around me to do a alignment so I don't destroy a set of tires going to and from Maryland and then all thats left is pull the rest of the tint off the windows and finish my trunk cover.Last edited by GTIKole.; 09-11-2012, 10:37 AM.

Ok so update time!
in the past 48 hours I have...
-replaced the wipers
-replaced the coil packs and spark plugs
-replaced my cabin filter
-replaced my cam follower
-put 20mm spacers on the rear (making the Alphards 18x9.5 et20)
-blew a rear bag
-tapped out the frame to use better bolts than what airlift supplies you, which are self tapping screws...
-replaced rear bag and played around with it's mount to make sure the bag was centered.
-pulled the rear arches to allow for et20
-put my new steering on
I still have to do an oil change and a few other little odds and ends to clean up the rear more but it's getting there for sure.
New wheel
The screws air lift gives you on the leftand the bolts I tapped the frame out for.
