Also, are you running a short shifter? If so, what brand/kind and how does it feel?

Well I don't really have a cool update. But I did just get out of school so I'll be doing little things this summer but not much. But what I DO have is a cassette player! I've wanted one for a while because I despise having to burn CD's and all the other inconveniences associated with them. Like skipping. If I had to hear a CD skip one more time I was going to kill a cute animal and not even care.
But this tape deck is really pretty. Works. Stock. And now I can use my mp3 player and my old tapes. Rad. I am very happy.
Look at my fabulous photography and editing skillz.

Haha that's awesome man! I personally enjoy my Alpine deck with the iPod jack. I'm sure without it I would go insane....

So I was just going through some old pictures and dug these up. These were taken when I first pushed the car outside after swapping in the build motor. It hadn't even run yet. But look how pretty and perfect and WHITE the valve cover is! Oh well. But yeah, right after they were taken I did one more check on everything and the car fired right up.
Look I have a beginner driver tag and 17's. I was definitely one of those people.

Well I have not done too much on the car lately. I have however managed to get another 1/2" of clearance out of my stupid downpipe. I had it a piece of cardboard's width away from the oil pan but somewhere in time it moved or I moved it. But now it's right back were it's supposed to be and I don't scrape as much. It's nice. I need a skid plate though. I have about half of my drain plug left and my oil pan is leaking. Like, not the gasket or the drain plug, oil is just seeping through little pin-holes in the pan itself.
Right now I'm saving up for Koni yellows, springs, and an Energy Suspension master kit as well as trailing arm bushings. I'm also going to get all new quarters and rockers. Also spacers but I haven't been able to get a hold of a fender roller and I don't have the guts to use a piece of pipe and hammer.
Stuart took some pictures.

No, there really aren't. It does have an exhaust though. It's a streetcar! But for real, it's just hard to see. The reason it doesn't exit properly is because it is routed around the gas tank on the passenger side and I don't want two more 90's restricting the flow just to have it come out properly. And I actually like the exit as it is.
This is the only pic I have where you can see anything. If you look closely under the bumper and just to the left of the passenger mudflap you can see the three inch exhaust dumping right after it goes over the control arm (45 degree bend at the end). And no, I will never run a muffler. I love how 9,000 rpm through a straight pipe sounds.
Hopefully that didn't sound rude. I know where you're coming from. But from a performance perspective it probably won't happen.Last edited by M.Doban; 05-20-2013, 08:44 PM.
