Fuuck, I just started reading the thread and got super excited once i seen the wheels and them sweet flares fitted and of course the work you've put into it. Sorry about the set back on the car but you'll get her fixed back up for sure, So save them pennies up and make a comeback!.

Thanks for the words blokes, I think I have decided to fix my current LS. Yeah, they are pretty cheap 4k or less, but that is still 4k that I do not have. And besides it wouldn't be the same even if I somehow bought another black one. Right now I am looking for a job that pays over minimum wage haha. It has been hard building this car on 9.70 an hr, not working full time either! I have 0 money saved up, as it is mostly invested in this car.

Good news is that I got a trunk lid from the wrecking yard, it's a different color but it is flawless. From what I can tell, I just need a rear bumper and some tail lights. I will do the bodywork myself to the best of my ability, but if I can't get it perfect I will have to take it to someone who can, because I want the car to be better than ever. So look out for the comeback, if the car does indeed come back, it will be fully painted and all of the body work done and hopefully I can get bigger lips for my wheels.

My car has been fenderless for awhile (2ish months), I just haven't had the motivation to finish them. Anyways I came home last week to this, and NO I was not parked sideways, my car was pushed sideways, I can park perfectly fine. It's pushed over the parking barrier but you can't really tell. The front bumper is fine now it just has a scuff.

I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do. Fix this ucf10 or buy another one? If I get another one I can swap everything over, but it wouldn't be the same car. And if I were to save up for another car I'm not sure I'd choose a ucf10, maybe id get a ucf20 or maybe I would get another car completely. I don't want to give up on my vision and what I had planned for this car. Whatever happens, I'm coming out harder and cleaner by next summer.

Before anyone asks YES, money is an issue. Mommy doesn't foot the bill for my car, nor do I have any money saved up. I was barely affording Liability insurance and had to cancel my policy when Fall qtr started. I do not have insurance and when I did it was only Liability so I would have been screwed either way. No I am not Sherlock Holmes and there is no trail to follow.

hey man same shit happend to my car a year ago and i was in the same situation. just dont give up on your vision man and follow what your original plan was.

Most people don't have comprehensive anyway. I've never even had collision. I've only had minimum liability on any of my cars. That's how it is when your a student modding cars.
