More work last night.
Here is the pan in daylight.
Clean enough. Honestly I wasn't too worried about the inside. I mainly just wanted to get rid of the crap at the bottom.
Flywheel cover came out beautiful.
I took those pics and then made myself a manly dinner.
I said EFF BUNS and made my own. Make sure you put mayonnaise in between each piece of bread.
Then I got my fat body out to the garage and started working.
Pan looks good

I attacked the shift linkage and seal.
Old:
YUCKY!
Old leaky seal
New seal. ARK ARK ARK!

Wait. I mean.
Leave the old seal in place and pound the new one in with the smallest socket that will fit over the end of the shift input dong. In my case it was a 15mm
Thank you to Jay3 for letting me drive over to his house at 830pm to pick it up. Pretty hilarious as we were outside talking these kids were playing night soccer and they kept hitting his euro 7 series. I saw him go from happy go lucky to hulk smash angry in about 5 soccer ball hits. LOL.
New shift rod joint and foam. That little foam pad provides stiffness to the shift rod joint. Since it costs less than a dollar. Just replace it.
Installed.
I've been putting it off, but now its time to tackle the broken exhaust manifold bolt.
I broke two harbor freight drill bits to get this far.
I bought these for 2 dollars at walmart. Little did I know they are completely BADAZZ and ate through this stud.
Broke through to the other side of it. The paint is peeling because of the harsh chemicals I was using to break it free.
I had to stop at 1030 for the night. Did not get the stuck stud out

Heres how I left it.
More updates coming!
