    Productive day was productive:

    Driveshaft fitted.
    Brakes bleed.
Front camber adjusted aka maxed out negativ aka -2° lol.
    Front suspension buttoned up.
    Successfully test fitted new wheels.

    Next:

Install exhaust till new katalytic converter arrives (should be here wednesday).
Wire Fan to temp.sensor (correct so it works).
    Test drive.
    Fix whatever is wrong (everything).
    Reassamble interior.

    Some time next:
    Replace Kat.
    Get tüv (hopefully).
Fix whatever the tüv guy says (proberly brakes).

Brake lights are now full operational, as well as the reverse lights.
Gotta claim your victorys were you can...

Would have the additional high beams (3000 lights) working too but Opel didn't think it's nessesary
to put the dashbord wiring from the highest trim in the lowest trim model too.
Fun fact the chassis harness is the same...

    Surprise motherf*ckers!!!

IT RUNS, I F*UCKING TELL YOU, IT F*CKING RUNS!!!

It proves that if you read the wiring diagram wrong, because you have the up to '92 instead of the '92 and after, you wire things were they don't belong and
it tends to upset the car quite a bit, no power to the starter solenoid, not working backup lights...
    Small things right...

But to slow down my and your enthusiasm, because i know like 8 people almost fell of their chairs as they read that ,it's not moving jet, the brakes need to
be bleed, driveshaft installed and maybe attach the rest of the exhaust.
Possibly reassamble the interior and stuff, but that is a "If i finish the other stuff i'll do that" kind of thing...

tl:dr: I'm stupid, car runs, not moving jet, will, eventually...

This is so awesome, wheels are going to be so gooooood!

My dad used to own an old opel wagon many many years ago, so I have a weak spot for them. Looking forward to see the wheels on man

    Fui the wheels aren't leaking.

Picked up a small case lsd (internals are similar to the 168 bmw lsd), needs rebuild..,
    but the price was good.
Already found an nos ring and pinion kit, may step up it up to ~60% in the process...

Not much else to report.., need to put in time (and money) into the vert, mostly
maintance related stuff but also bodywork...

    Old cars.., fun times.

But on the up side.., in about two weeks, this lil' guy will move in and
    cause all sorts of trouble...

Sealed the wheels, went better than expected.
Having done a fair amount of oilpans (new cars mostly have liquid gaskets) helped big time...
So lets hope they are sealed proberly. Haven't had a oilpan leak on me so i think it should be
    fine.

Not perfect tho.., kind of my own fault. The degreaser creeped unter the tape...
    Life and learn...

I cleaned the mounting area of the faces as they jammed inside the barrels.
Lips and barrels had been cleaned weeks ago...

And i assembled and tightened the bolts.
I went with 30Nm/40ft.lb (new bolts), which should be alright.
But i will check the torgue down the road...
    Just need to seal them.

You may notice the orientation of the valve steam is different to the last pic i posted.
I turned them 180°, i think it looks way better now...

But i can give you a run down from memory...

I picked up some stuff for the new rims...
    Bolts, nuts and center caps...

I'm not painting them for now... Because if i don't get them on the car now,
    it's not happening.

Or to say it a lil more poetic:
I embrace the fact that the car or the parts are perfect in any way.
Nothing is.., so there is no need to pursuit perfection.
There will be a time to do things right, but for now time doesn't matter.
