I have a gearbox from Opel/Vauxhal Omega (which has allso been with cable operated clutch) in my Saab Aero powered e30 project and my clutch is operated by similiar slave cylinder. So I thought I might post a picture here of my setup.
It's oily because I had just aired it out before bolting in and taking the picture. I cut the old cablemount off and made a mount which was bolted in with oilpan bolts. So i could install the cylinder as I thought it was supposed to. I was thinking the same way to install it as I imagine you've done it, but didn't dare to leave it without that rubber cover sleeve thing (what ever it is called)

Your e30 is brutal dude... I actually used to look at pictures of it all the time before I had mine because I wanted some shakotans at one point too. I literally joined only to post on this thread.
Too bad mine only has a 2.3l Mustang short block. (The turbo makes up for it a little though)
Ignore some of the shitty wiring and stuff across engine. Some things are still being changed.Last edited by beevuhs; 07-30-2013, 11:36 AM.

Small update: New headers are going on tomorrow.
An exhaust is being built before H2o as well. Well, to be clear, just 3" piping to 4" polished blast pipes.
Also my dad said no the daily I was going to buy(r31), so I'm buying a new engine to build. And I figured that 1 turbo has been done before, and EFI is a little played, so a friend most of you have seen on here will be helping me with this new endeavor
