I run into a few problems when looking at that though.

    1. No oil pickup to use, the front sump pickup sits pretty much on the bottom of the pan.

    2. Even if I were to modify it, it would be very slight as I've already lessened the oil capacity
about 1.5+ quarts, so it would almost be not worth doing, as no other e30
skid plate has that height, except for an m20 but that would be impossible to run without
a dry sump. That leaves me with a custom build plate, which isn't worth the trouble for the
    little clearance I'd gain.

If anybody has any suggestions, I'd love hearing them! I still have 3/4" - 1" to the plate, so it's not dire, just something I'd like to remedy.

If anyone knows about pan clearance on this forum it's Byron.

And that was the plan, but I need to run a hard line for oil pressure, figure out why the alt doesn't always charge, various other things and have the cage built before the second semester of school(when I'm bringing it with me) so I don't think it's happening this year :/
    Pussy, bring it.

This. After seeing what Swoops has done for pans, I'm convinced that inexperience is what the problem is here.

You sure you need a dry sump? Start with baffling the pan or look in to accusump cause I think it's super overkill to dry sump a 5.0. The pump will cost more than the engine. Fortune Auto JUST put in a drysump for a unlimited AWD evo that pulls double the g's an e30 with an iron block 302 could.
