so, i just bought my first e30 last tuesday. my most recent, previous, car was a 500awhp vw so my friends have been all up in my ass about what am i going to do with the e30 to carry on this legacy. i've been maintaining that the e30 will be less retarded and as, if not more, fun than the vw.
this thread is ruining my wife's life and she doesn't even know it yet. my 2.7L 325i does not make the sound that a mildly built 302 does in its dirtiest, wettest dreams.
i'll see how much i can do between now and H2Oi.
i'll bring my e30, we'll do burnouts.
I don't know you, but I think we could be friends.
There's a pic from about 2 years ago of my good one in this thread, let me find it. That red one was an impulse buy at college because I left mine at home.

Some mo' updates, they should be rolling in through all of summer. I have a job interview tomorrow, as well, so a cage and some more goodies soon? Engine rebuild first though.
Well yesterday I got a keyless entry from Kevin(thanks again bud!), and temp installed it on the plastic backing of the rear passenger light. Decided to move it.
Here's where it was,
Then drilled some holes, and put gasket maker/ sealant on either side after clearing over the bare metal to prevent rust. Then I installed it. Also repainted the bolts for the rear plate.
Drank some of this
Then pulled the rear bumper off. On a related note, looks like I've been driving around for a year with nothing holding my rear bumper on. I need to repaint this as well, I accidentally used a slightly darker color than Brilliantrot and it turned out pretty bad.
Pulled it off
Decided to clean it up, was pretty dirty. But underneath that dirt was like-new paint. Pretty cool to see how it was.
This is what happens when you don't clean your car after a burnout.
Left the poor girl like this, back at it tomorrow.
do you have an old broken Wilwood slave sitting around that you won't use? I am having issues with mine since I'm mounting it differently.
love the driveway dude
I don't man, sorry! I've just been getting rebuild kits, since it's $15 apposed to ~$80 for an entirely new slave. Would you mine posting some pics of your setup, or how you plan to run it? And also a build thread?
Well today I remembered why I don't park under trees, even for a few hours.
Then I pulled off my trunk and prepped it, and put some primer down. Need to run and get some more primer and then paint, and it should be back together. Hopefully will start on the rear bumper as well, tomorrow.
Then later today our friends Kevin and Miller stopped by, so Spencer(owns the house/ garage/ driveway most of my pictures are from, owns the silver rallycar and a white, m50 swapped track car), Miller(DS oem car), Kevin(Alpine MT2) and I went for some pics. Miller was the only one with the nice camera, but I snagged some on the iPhone.
Lastly I just want to thank everyone for the support, compliments and criticism. It always surprises me how well people take to this dirty, beat hoonmobile that was built in a small garage by two 17 year olds.
