Just spent half of my work day reading this entire thread from start to finish.
Awesome work man! It definitely is huge motivation and you share very similar interests with me. I read how old you are a few hours ago but forget. I just turned 24 this month and IIRC we are around the same age.
Cars and building things such as the tables you have been designing are my dream. I just wish I had the resources you have. You are very lucky!
Now that I have all this motivation I am going home from work and finishing putting my e36 m3 back together. It's been apart for about a month now in my garage as I've slowly fixed it up and replaced parts and brought them to my painter. It's very close to going back together and the past few days I've lost the drive.
This thread also makes me regret not taking pictures along the way to create a build thread for mine. I've always tried to get in the habit of taking pictures along the way but i just get in the zone and completely forget to take any, haha.
Good luck with the car and I can't wait to see more. Subscribed and will be checking in for updates. Looking forward to them!

Your furniture design is awesome man. The metalwork is so sharp and bold which makes for some really cool looking structures. Combined with the neatly finished wood it doesn't come over too industrial, there's a really nice balance of sharp man made lines, and natural wooden shapes.
In short I love what you're doing, with both your furniture design and your '02 for that matter! My '88 Golf GTI - http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=59460

I specifically made an account to comment on and subscribe to this thread. You sir, do some amazing work. I'm really excited to see this thing come together in the future. Also, thank you for documenting your build so well, it made for an entertaining 5+ hours of my day.
PS. For the people hoping for an actual update; I apologize.SAAB 900 T16s

Thanks for the rad comments guys, always excited to see new people getting hyped off this project thread.
Per usual, I unfortunately don't have any new updates on the roundie. However this might slightly hold you guys over for a tiny bit, it's a little design I recently made that I had CNC plasma cut out of some 3/16" steel plate by my shop neighbor. Might redesign it slightly and try to sell them at some point:
I was also messing around with some forced patina recipes and tried using it as a stencil of sorts and came up with this weird piece. I used old motor oil to darken the tires. I randomly brought it with me to the swap meet a few weeks later and sold it for $10 to a guy who had a BMW fanatic brother:
