I will refinish them eventually but I'll probably run them like this for a while. They look too good to change almost, but they do need a tiny bit of work and I want to run bigger lips on two of them so they'll have to come apart anyways. Who knows what I'll end up doing.

    • I didnt realize Kodiak still made lips that fit RS wheels. Those are beauts. Give a thought to sending the centers over to Dave at Renewed Finishes for some powder coating. Hes a great guy with good prices, and it will last so much longer then paint.

        Bigger lip the better
If you stick with the white that would look good if you go with that brown color for the car you mentioned a while back

Pretty sure Kodiak lips are NLA. I read somewhere that they aren't producing lips for BBS anymore. When the time comes to refinish the wheels, everything will be powdercoated.

I agree, I'm still undecided on color for the car as it's still quite a ways down the road but the brown is definitely still one of my top choices.

Definitely give Dave at RF a call then. He is a super chill guy.

haha funny, looks cool. That Nishiki in my picture is actually one I just bought at the swapmeet to resell on craigslist. I have a Giant Bowery single speed.

                  • Got some work done today. Started prepping the door jamb so I took everything down to clean bare metal:

Got everything clean and then laid down some primer. I also messed around with the fitment on the BBS' I just bought. This is the 15x8.5 in the rear with a 20mm spacer, which I will actually be moving up front and running a 15x9 in the rear once I get bigger lips. I could totally fit a 15x9.5 back there, but don't want to stretch a 195/45 that much. I'll be fine with a 15x9 and probably a 20mm spacer when all is said and done:
