I plan on doing more videos for sure, it's just takes twice as long to get anything done haha it's surprisingly time consuming to set everything up and get the right shots.

hammer and dolly work is TEDIOUS. Don't learn on a panel you plan on using unless you are SUPER careful. A lot of body newbies will over stretch or basically over work the metal... Then you have to shrink it, it will ruin a panel really quickly not knowing what you are doing... I would recommend taking a panel you will never use... Make a tiny dent in it, fix it.. Then make a bigger dent... fix it. etc... Just until you feel comfortable. You will start to get the feel for it really quickly judging by the other work you do. Listen for a sound that sounds "tingy" ... any hollow deep sound will most likely mean you are missing the dolly. I could keep going on but you aren't stupid.. Good luck!

Made some more progress on the fender. After hours and hours of hammering, filling and sanding, I primed it up and am happy to say that it's getting there. haha. It still needs quite a bit of work, but it's progress and I'll take anything at this point.

I've actually been working a ton, which means the BMW's get no attention. I've also been a bit distracted with my new e30, been compiling some parts for it. I'm actually completely refurbishing the suspension and building a set of coilovers for it tomorrow so that'll be sweet

I've worked on the '02 a bit, I started working on the driver's side door which I purchased a few months back since my existing one showed signs of having heavy amounts of body filler on it so I wanted something clean. Found a replacement door for $120 which I was told was an "original, clean door with no body filler" by a seemingly cool, honest seller. Found out today that that definitely isn't the case. Started grinding away and discovered that probably 1/3 of the entire door is covered thick with bondo. Got all that off to reveal a terribly dented door, which is exactly the opposite of what I bought this door for. Pretty bummed on that, all this extra body work is unexpected but I just gotta power through it. Just need to stay focused on the finished product...

Havent't been working on my e28 either. I'm dealing with a shit ton of work too and whenever there is a day off, I spend it sleeping. Oh my. Depressing.

It's cool that you guys still grew an interest in cars and put in work on your own experiences though. My passion for cars is completely influenced by my dad, even though he never had an interest in cars like I do, he just fixed them. He's so down to help though, just today he spent 6 hours under my e30 with me trying to yank the stupid subframe out and we finally got it. He turned 55 yesterday and still kickin! So grateful for that dude.
