Thinking of getting the YSP setup for my w124 coupe, would you recommend them after your experience with them?
1) height adjustability
- I needed to do some welding to get bags on the car and it the pricing did add up. I got these for a fraction of the cost and cannot be happier. Here's a link to some good info on the YSR suspension: http://190rev.net/forums/showthread.php?t=39479
2) front camber plates
-finding any front camber adjustment or plates is difficult. There is a set made by RDMTEK but it's $700 and they're discontinued.@KNOLAS on Instagram #lownslowcrew

Love this car, just trying to sort out my own suspension YSR kit looks to much money for me, I need to do this on a shoe string budget with out just cutting the standard springs as i want to adjust the height as and when needed
Great car

Hey freshjive,
Sorry to bring this back up from the grave, but I'm trying to do exactly what you have done to your w124, difference being mine is a 1986, cream color, with euro lights, cherry tails, no side cladding and 18" monoblocks.
I've decided on everything except suspension, I have the money for the YSR "coilovers" that I see you have on the car. I've been a long time memeber of 190rev and have already read all the information available about the YSR coils and I am not happy with what's available. First, it's all 2 years old and I've been told the set-up has changed to be a perfect bolt-on now with no issues. However, can you say whether you need to take the whole front end apart to adjust the settings on the springs as I read the spring perch effect hides the rings to adjust the settings, thus you can't do it unless you take it out which sounds rather pointless. Was it corrected by the time you got your kit?
The rears, I read you can just point the adjust up from the LCA instead of down from the perch and you are able to reach it that way, is this what you did or is corrected by the time you bought your kit.
Please help me out!

I bought my kit when it was version one. So no new current changes or updated parts. Adjustability is there, but not as convenient. The front shocks have to be removed to adjust and the rears have more room for the spanners, but ultimately would be easier if the shocks were also removed. I would make sure you get the newest version I avoid these flaws.@KNOLAS on Instagram #lownslowcrew
