You're working on coils that go lower right? I really love the look you have, been looking for 91 for quite a while now

Yeah, the coils I have now will remain for the most part. The strut housings are getting shortened though along with shortened Bilsteins. They were supposed to get shortened when I sent them out, but apparently there was some miscommunication. They are offering to fix the situation for free though so I'm happy.
I'm also working on some upper strut mounts which will gain some suspension travel. I don't have enough time to finalize a design and have it manufactured right now though :/

Well the wheel situation is sorta up in the air at the moment. I can put my Gallardo wheels on the Audi or I have some speedlines that I think look pretty nice. If the Gallardo wheels don't sell, I'll definitely run them for a bit at least.
The only thing holding me back from the speedlines is that one has a cracked center and I need to find a new one (very hard to find) and I need to refinish them.
The E34 is a 530i so its got a 3.0l V8. Its pretty cool, but not fast by any means. When the 3.0l dies, I'll swap a 4.0, a 4.5 or maybe an LS1 in. I'm currently looking for a staggered set of ACS type II for it 18x8.5 and 18x10. At the least I'll get a set of square 18x8.5 with it.

^^
please fit the gallardos.
I have the M60B40 in my E32 and it is pretty good with just straight pipes, CAI with velocity stack and DINAN chip. im sure it will do pretty good for you with that engine with 6speed manual, lsd, and few mods. the swap is piece of cake. just look for alusil blocks, not nikasil (you might know this already).
my $ .02

Anyone have any good ideas of what is a good stretch on an 11" wheel? I don't have many options due to the stagger on quattro and having to keep the same rolling diameter. I think 275 would be a mild stretch and 255 would be pretty stretched.
I'd definitely like a b40 in the e34. Just waiting for it to blow (hope it makes it to the summer at least lol)

Update: the car is on the street again for the first time in a year. I wanted to get it rolling again before I leave for Saudi Arabia next month. That required converting to vacuum brake assist and fabricating some new piping.
The IC piping was completed with no silicone which makes the system that much more robust. I'm using two Hargett couplers (no longer made :'( ) and three Vibrant Vanjens couplers. I like them both a lot.
What you can't see is the 4" downpipe and transition to my old 3" exhaust which was done in stainless.

There are a few kinks to work out. The shift linkage keeps popping off, so I need a new bushing for that, I need a new brake light switch because mine stopped working after doing the vacuum brake conversion. In the following two videos you can hear something funky with the shift linkage and the brake booster vac line pops off. Also, there is no wastegate on the car yet (it'll be here today) so it just hits boost cut all the time lol. I haven't been in the pedal more than about 50% at 20 psi and 5k RPM, but it sure is quick even like that.

When I leave for Saudi, the car is heading to NH to get just about everything you can imagine thrown at it. Dry sump; tall-deck, de-stroked 2.5l down to 2.3l to get an awesome rod ratio and rev to 11,000 RPM; 800 awhp; built, euro tdi 01E trans with trans cooler, etc.; maybe some cage work; custom axles; etc. Basically everything you need to make serious power and do it reliably with no expense spared. Keep an eye out for updates within the next year!Last edited by loxxrider; 06-21-2012, 07:40 AM.
