Got 2 of the wheels painted up and I've built one up. Only done up a few of the bolts though as they will need to split to fit tyres.

Cant really resist more pictures. Although I have managed to lose one of those polished washers under the bolts.

Really not a real update. Got a new door to place the one I repaired. Wasn't happy with it at all.



Not that anything will be happening with this anytime soon lol.

Thought do a little update on this. Refurbished the nardi steering wheel and gear knob. Nothing big. But I wanted to polish something

Before - Black anodised and the varnish pealing off




Mid way - Didn't like the black so polished it and Sanded all the old varnish off.





Gear knob - I thought I'd sand off all the varnish and try and make it lighter to match the steering wheel since it was pretty dark. But turns out it was fake wood grain painted on real wood. Which works out for me since the real wood is lighter than the fake was. lol. Still a bit strange though. Obviously it's cheap wood underneath but still.




And finished - decided to go with a matt clear varnish since I liked the looks of the natural wood so much. Such a massive improvement.

This and your other build are totally inspirational! I can't wait to see this car together! Will you be repainting in the original car colour or something to match the rims and interior?

Thanks! Yeah it will be staying jade green. I really like the colour. Works well with the wheels and interior I think.
