You would think huh? The fact is the tires are 10mm over stock width, these cars came as a base with 195-75-14 bias plys(E78 x 14B was its proper designation) it was on a 5.5" rim however... I realise 205's on a 10" is ridickulous but I had a chance to drive it with the new rolling stock up front and it cleared, just barely. Under full lock with 5 inches of drop already with a possible 2 more to go i'm going to need that sloped shoulder in the front to clear the already rolled out fenders.

I want to see this thing smashing gears with the tires alight.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

                        Your blast pipes look stupid.

Hah the bad part is I actually know the only visual difference between '71 and '72 Chevelle is the turn signals because we parked my dad's '72 next to a '71 and walked around the cars 3 times looking for a difference. Just a random question though, were the front clips identical besides the strip in middle or were their size differences?

Totally, I just did that yesterday in a culdesac across the way. I need to work out a chase car with a camera for all my vehicles.

Same car, it was only the surround for the headlight trim around that and grill that changed as far as loOks go. I believe emissions got stricter , making the 1970 the highest hp numbers. In fact the 70 had only a few more differences as well. The fenders had turn signals located on them and the rear bumper had different styling. 1968-72 shared a similar chassis.
