So im going to try and actually keep this build thread updated unlike the last one for the e30. So I started taking the motor apart, I pulled the head off cant see any visible damage, the timing looks like it was off by one tooth but im going to bring the head to a machine shop to have them check it out and see if it did any internal damage i cant see. I also tried on the Rotiform TMB's I picked up. These were originally supposed to be for this but I ended up putting them on the E30.

It looks kinda funny because its sitting on the tires but with the MK1 flares the wheels would sit perfectly how I want them.

I also had to try these on since they weren't on the E30 anymore, Cant decide if I like them or not.

That sucks...needs some more time. Have you decided on a body color? Now that the E30's brown you'd probably come up with another color on the 02 right..

Im actually still thinking about color matching it still but well see what happens

I ended up blowing the motor, I lost compression in cylinder 1 and 6 so it looks like i skipped a tooth on timing so its going to be rebuilt. I believe I bent a valve but im going to take the head to a shop to have it checked out.
Will update with pictures soon.

Meh its not that nice. It doesn't run without the 12v because it doesn't feel like it.
