also, if anyone has any suggestion on what else would look alright on this, feel free to post up. Once i get the wheels/tires/adapters on, i'll be cutting more coils. when I do that, the front lip will come off and it'll just be stock up there. the lip is already a couple inches from the ground, and im gonna need to do at least a couple more inches of lowering for this to sit right.

but yea, any suggestions would be awesome! I'd like to try to polish out the lights at some point. im going to build a wood slat roof rack in the next couple weeks, too.

        Not bad.

The dull tails really kill everything though, 'cause the rest of the car looks pretty good in the photos.

Find blue and yellow tint, paint the tails like the flag! Haha

Clean up the car, take all the stickers off (except the TB ones) Find better condition taillights at a junkyard or something, joey mod your headlights and polish the lenses. I think the wheels will look pretty good on your car too. Jerd's wagon looked good with them.

the tails are in rough shape as it is.. the plastic is all cracked and dull and to the point to where polishing them wont help with anything. they were tinted black for the longest time, and the red is just a temp fix until i can find some replacements.

the car is def dirty...it hasn't left the driveway in over 2 years lol. I just found out my fuel pump is shot, so it wont get washed until then (the hose can't reach that far ). I do want to take the stickers off, but i've been busy cleaning up wiring and trying to get it running right. It will come, though. THe back used to have more stickers than that...haha. like i said above, the tails are just a temp fix until i can find some good ones. these are wayy to far gone to fix. for some reason, the newer 740 tails are ridiculously hard to find at the junkyard, and new ones (even the off brand ones) are 180+ apiece.. What is the joey mod? I was gonna polish out the lenses, but they're cheap to replace, so i might just get new ones.

              Thanks yall!!

agreed on replacing the tails and removal of the stickers. get those sawblades fitted with some rubber and I'd paint the front and rear bumpers or black the lower doors and rockers

ehhh i absolutely H.ATE painted plastic bumpers on these cars. the black is needed (imo) to give it contrast. if I did all white, i'd have a vanilla ice rollin in my 5.0 feel going on.

I finally got tires last wed. I ended up going with 215/45/17s.. We mounted two of them tonight, a front and rear. the other rear, we couldn't get the bead to seat...any advice? we only had a standard tire machine and no cheetah or anything. I was thinking of trying the bike tube thing i've read about, but i'm not sure.. the other front tire had a gash in it, so I've got to go get another one. here is the stretch on the rear...i think its gonna be perfect.

my front adapters should be at my house tomorrow or the day after...SHOULD. once I get them, i'll be able to judge how thick my rear adapters will be, and then i'll order them and be rolling on sawblades tomorrow, if the weather is nice, i'm going to replace the fuel filter. I HOPE that is what is causing it not to run. if thats that, then in the next month after that, it should be on the road.

Love the progress so far. My 3 cents are wet sand the tails and use a headlight restoration kit on both tails and headlights as pointed out earlier. Paint the front air dam body color. Do a proper 3-step on the paint and take off the stickers.

Note, I may want these wheels and adapters once you want to sell.
