Yes they do sit about 1 inch lower. I have been half dollar height now for a couple days now and already have taken like 7-8 hard pan hits... they turn the engine oil light on...

I have plans to raise the motor, and skid plate this weekend.

    also bought wheels...

It's been re-painted, poorly. it's something metallic. I will check tomorrow.

I am repainting it soon, already started the prep work...

I ended up filling the holes on the rear valence to make it a bit cleaner. the front was pretty straight forward. The sides i'm having a bit of trouble making them look clean. I got moulding off an E23 which ended up being different so i'm using it for now but does not look great, need to get some extra e28 moulding. otherwise just trying to figure out ways to clean up the sides. I like what you did with your front bumper though.

heres the rear, I think that would look good with your modded front

It wasn't bad. You have to take the stock headlight adjusters out of the e28. you have to shave the stock mounts off of the E34 housings. I then expoxied the housings in. As far as wiring, a buddy of mine did it. I am runnng HID's, which are an awesome upgrade over the stock e28 lighting, obviously.
Oh yea man that looks nice!!
    the bumper and the lights!
I think I will go the route you did with my rear bumper.

    spoiler alert

    Car is going bags
