how are the mk1 rabbit shocks? im running rado g60 kybs right now and they feel too bouncy. i wanna try some 325ix inserts.

    car looks great
Wow man thanks, your car looks phenomenal! I would have went with the rado inserts but they cost so much money, I figure if I am going to run a shock to small for the car it's going to blow anyways might as well get the cheaper option. In my opinion they are not bouncy at all. in fact my ride became a LOT stiffer after this, which Is weird... Thanks for looking man give me your wheels? okay cool!

thanks for the kind words, really appreciate it

hmmm, i think ill swap out my front springs then before i mess with the shocks then, im running the generic 6.5inch springs that came with my cheap kit and they were way to soft. ill throw some springs with acceptable e28 rates and see how it goes from there

what springs are you running? any idea of the rates?

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

        Your blast pipes look stupid.

i need to do some coilovers bad. but as far as the front bumper, I like it. I do think it kinda needs some type of moulding though? I'm currently working on a project similar to it but used the stock mouldings

welp, I was going to do "eurobumpers" but I just decided shaved would be better, I didn't like how the mine were turning out. yours look to be coming along nicely though in fact from what I see your automobile looks great!

E34 headlights? They look good. How hard was the conversion?

Thanks man! its still a work in progress. I took it a little further than the white car on here with the stepped lip style 5's. I ended up filling the holes on the rear valence to make it a bit cleaner. the front was pretty straight forward. The sides i'm having a bit of trouble making them look clean. I got moulding off an E23 which ended up being different so i'm using it for now but does not look great, need to get some extra e28 moulding. otherwise just trying to figure out ways to clean up the sides. I like what you did with your front bumper though.

heres the rear, I think that would look good with your modded front

It wasn't bad. You have to take the stock headlight adjusters out of the e28. you have to shave the stock mounts off of the E34 housings. I then expoxied the housings in. As far as wiring, a buddy of mine did it. I am runnng HID's, which are an awesome upgrade over the stock e28 lighting, obviously.

I think I will go the route you did with my rear bumper.

loving the progress man. shaved front end looks good, just wish they had metal lips like the e21's

I ended up lowering the car more! much better height. then drove to work and took a shot in my parking spot I am stoked on.
