all the angles are finally good. just have to replace this mount. was an attempt to correct the angles and failed when i tightened the bolts. better then than while i'm driving back up to new york!

it'll be here tomorrow with a new axle and i'm doing a seal on the passenger side so i got new tranny fluid

    weird, right? 12 bucks a liter D=<

vortex generators and rear lips are none of my concern at the moment.
my cv joints have always been giving me problems ever since i got this low

sooo drove my car to florida from long island. made it to south carolina and i heard/felt horrible vibrations from my driver side axle. kept driving in hopes it wouldn't break. as soon as i got into georgia the vibrations went away. found out this broke.

driver side lower trans mount. looks like one of the bolts had been broken long before this incident you can tell by the wear patterns and the half of a bolt stuck in there (see it?)

welds were just tacks. we did complete the welds and clean everything up nicely, eventually using a honda f22 crank bolt, studs, and a lot of sifting through bolts/welding/grinding/cutting to make it work. also had to modify the stock bushing/bracket A LOT to clear the shifter arms. raised the motor one inch.

this side is machined down on either surface, and also shimmed raising the motor one inch.
also had to modify the radiator support to make sure the supercharger pulley cleared since the motor angled forward.

so the motor is propped up one inch now, but one problem. the engine is cocked outward on the driver side due to some mis-alignment on the custom steel bracket. the axles are now straight, but i need to fix the horizontal angle. also my shifter linkage and fuel lines are very close to my rear trans mount (ottp rotated mounts) and i don't feel very good about it. the mount is also not centered in the rear trans mount bracket, and the bolts are not long enough. it needs about a 1.5" spacer between the mount and the subframe. needs tweeking. i'm going to finish this project tomorrow night. sorry for the lack of pics, i was in the zone

Car is coming along nicely. Only thing i'd do differently is remove those vortex generator thingers.

Everything's come together really nice, but one thing I really can't get into is the rear bumper lip. It seems awkward to me, especially since it runs under the exhaust.
