There is no other way. unless i learn how to weld / fab sheet metal which i NEEED to do.
That has been my entire premise on this build, dude. Just to see if I can do it. I've got so much respect for you trying whatever you try. You continue to be an inspiration for me to not give up.

Like I said to Eugene, I'd rather spend the time this year and finish it rather than trailering it all over North America. I'll get to drive it everywhere come July/August/September this year.

Stayed up pretty late last night writing down what I needed to all buy to get it to a point where I'd be happy calling it 'done' for the year and financially it is not as bad as I had originally anticipated. Don't get me wrong, it's still pretty bad, hahaha.

I'll be making my own brackets, for sure.

I always thought that steering wheel was super ugly but hey, it's great that you'll eventually switch it out.
I don't know what it is but something to do with the bulky square that's connected at "4:30 and 7:30".
Yeah, I can't explain it haha.
The steering wheel is less than desirable, that's for sure. Like I said, though. It's just there to "look finished".

Got some big news the passed few days. Not allowed to share just yet, but I assure you it's amazing.

Car NEEDS to be done for July, so I'll be going hard at it (that means nightly updates again) until then. Can't wait to miss a great deal of sleep.

The fill cap is right in the upper, center vent.

How often do you guys fill your brake reservoirs? Yeesh.

The dash looks amazing with those gauges mounted into it. And one last thing, how much are the seats going to be because I know I'm getting some eventually. Thanks in advance!
Thanks a bunch dude, that was really nice.

    My dude.

Went out to the shop with pure intent to finish cleaning up after the tornado that went through the last couple weeks. Cleaned for an hour or so then got distracted and somehow wound up starting on this years skid plate.

It is, basically, going to be an extension of the factory subframe, connecting to the front rad cradle, with the entirety of the drivetrain covered.

My cousin folded up these pieces for me (I've had them going on two months and have been focused elsewhere).

I traced the factory dogbone lower engine mount onto one end of each, and drilled and radiused them, and then cut them to length.

It's hard to picture it now, and unfortunately I didn't get to go any farther last night as this took entirely too long (I need a mill).

If you can picture it, these will extend from the subframe, with a big plate in the middle, that will also extend into the center of the subframe. I'll be mounting my catch can, meth pump and using this as my dog-bone mount bracketry aswell. It will be quite the sight when finished.
