No matter what I do, it's still a Cavalier.

You seem to ALWAYS be working on this car. Which makes me wonder when you have time to watch hockey and eat ham and dress up like a Mountie. I'm beginning to think you may not really be Canadian at all...

Also, that fuel cell looks right at home in there.
And thanks, I'm worried that it may be a little small, but at the same time I don't really care.

Can't wait to see these wheels redone too.

I went out and tackled my left wheel well tonight. I've been putting off finishing both undersides of the tubs and whatnot because it is just plain shitty work and I fucking **** it.
So there.
So, finished all the metal work on the left side tonight, seam-sealed and got it rocker-guarded. I can honestly say, a wheel well has never made me smile so much. I could run a 19" wheel and still roll the same static height. I'm not exaggerating either.
The right side has more to do, so I'll be tackling most of it, tomorrow.

K, fuel cell is in for good! Car is back on the hoist and I'm busting ass again.
Bracketry in and sealed:
Cell in:
I think I've decided that the return hose and the vent hose will be attached like this, and go through bulkheads centered in the floor in front of the fuel cell. (The lines are lines used for my catch can and are way too long, that's why they're not perfect).
I also spent some time last night disassembling my wheels and front suspension, I have some metal work to take care of and then I can start mud work in the bay. The wheels are going for refinishing Monday.

GL with finishing it up!
I'm finally caught up and can REALLY start hauling on this thing.
The wheels are being disassembled for refinishing today (finally) and I intend on having the cell in for good today, aswell.
Not this weekend, but the weekend after I'm touring down to Michigan to pick up my seats, a new steering wheel hub and quick release (since I refuse to take the ones devoted to the car out of the s10)
The list of things to do is still really large but everything that had worried me/I hadn't figured out is nearly completely sorted out. PHEW.
Here's how it sits now, on my Mom's old car's summer wheels.
Ok, shop bound now.
