This project never fails to impress me. I continue to come back every day to see any update on it. It gives me so much inspiration to work on mine. I would post a pic but it would look mighty embarrassing with the rust and monster truck gap. But once I get my coils it will be looking better I hope. The dash looks amazing with those gauges mounted into it. And one last thing, how much are the seats going to be because I know I'm getting some eventually. Thanks in advance!

I'm picking up the seats used, only a season one them. So, I can't really help you there.
Originally posted by cobrawannabe View PostNice work, Jeff. I've enjoyed the Hell out of this car and the truck for some time, now.
Went out to the shop with pure intent to finish cleaning up after the tornado that went through the last couple weeks. Cleaned for an hour or so then got distracted and somehow wound up starting on this years skid plate.
It is, basically, going to be an extension of the factory subframe, connecting to the front rad cradle, with the entirety of the drivetrain covered.
My cousin folded up these pieces for me (I've had them going on two months and have been focused elsewhere).
I traced the factory dogbone lower engine mount onto one end of each, and drilled and radiused them, and then cut them to length.
It's hard to picture it now, and unfortunately I didn't get to go any farther last night as this took entirely too long (I need a mill).
If you can picture it, these will extend from the subframe, with a big plate in the middle, that will also extend into the center of the subframe. I'll be mounting my catch can, meth pump and using this as my dog-bone mount bracketry aswell. It will be quite the sight when finished.

Dash looks great! Keep up the great work!
I always thought that steering wheel was super ugly but hey, it's great that you'll eventually switch it out.
I don't know what it is but something to do with the bulky square that's connected at "4:30 and 7:30".
Yeah, I can't explain it haha.
Don't tell me life is so short, what have you done that's longer?

Got some big news the passed few days. Not allowed to share just yet, but I assure you it's amazing.
Car NEEDS to be done for July, so I'll be going hard at it (that means nightly updates again) until then. Can't wait to miss a great deal of sleep.
