1990 Nissan fairlady Z32 - long term build
 1982 euro porsche 930 turbo

"A less- assuming enthusiast probably wouldnt even think that this Z ran because of how naked the engine compartment was. The motor looks as if it just floats there, with nothing else in sight." Super Street 9/2012

At first I wasnt sure about this build but then i saw the plan for the car and now I'm excited.

What are you goin to do with the L28 once you get the 1UZ in? Also my aunt lives in Oshkosh, she used to own a Mexican restaurant up there.

Thanks again for all kind words!
The goal for this week is to get the block and heads modeled up, and perhaps take some dimensions of the rear end. Then the frame can start coming together in 3D.

I may hang onto the L28 for a bit... We plan to pick up another Z this summer, and depending what we find we may use this motor in the new one. If we get one with a running motor, then I have no use for it.Originally posted by Oscar View PostAt first I wasnt sure about this build but then i saw the plan for the car and now I'm excited.

So its sunday night and we're all bored... so I figured I'd throw up a few pics of a couple of other projects we have going on... or sould I say the reason the Z doesn't progress as quickly as I'd like! Customers come fist....
Below are a few shots of a T6 flanged turbo manifold for a 13B, using a 60mm Tial gate. This one is fully passivated and electropolished. The elbows we used for this manifold were from the supplier we don't usually care to use as the finish is rather textured (like an orange peel) and the result is so-so in our opinion.

And a 20B turbo manifold which also uses a GGT4788R (this car will be making 1000hp plus) that we'll finish up tomorrow or Tuesday. I got a little carried away with the design and the clearances for welding are zero, oh well haha. The collector is tricky one.
This manifold will also be fully polished, although I've removed all of the welds and gave the components a number 4 finish or better, so it will turn out like a mirror.

Two Rx7's arrive tomorrow to be put on the Senza Pari workout plan... but somehow I'll find the time to move the Z along.SENZA PARI
